Brexit
Some lemmings say that a huge drop onto jagged rocks would be fatal, but the fact is that no lemming really knows what would happen if we all jumped onto a bunch of jagged rocks; we could bounce, the rocks could disappear, or we could strike up a robust trading deal with the rocks.

Ghost in the Shell 2017
It blows my mind why they didn't want to make live-action Appleseed:
- cyborgs, androids, and similar sci-fi elements,
- confident female protagonist with supreme combat skills,
- no conflict with previous successful ecranisation,
- even plot about searching for own past apply there.
Edit: protagonist is also White.
